Mr. and Mrs. Clair McCorkellObserve 50th anniversaryMr. and Mrs. Clair McCorkell will observe their golden wedding anniversary at the First Baptist Church on Sunday, December S.There will be a program in the church auditorium at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the church basement.Clair McCorkell and Mable Pike were married December 20, 192-1 at the First Congregational church in Sioux City by the Kev. Joseph Steele.Mr. McCorkell served Akron area residents as rural mail carrier for many years until his retirement.Mr. and Mrs. McCorkell have two daughters, Mrs. Phylis Wilson of Azusa, Calif, and Mrs. Gladys Clarcy of Covina, Calif. One'son, Fdward, is deceased. They have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
