Clyde Alts Celebrate 65 Years of MarriageMr. and Mrs. Clyde Alt, Park Forest residents for the past 22 years, recently celebrated theirAuction Saturday In Richton ParkThe auction gavel will ring up sales from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday in Kichton Park to raise funds for that village’s Bicentennial commission. The place: Freeh’s Inn, Sauk trail east of Governors highway.Handcrafted items and home baked goods, in addition to merchandise that has been donated for the event, will be auctioned throughout the day. Refreshments will also be sold.65th wedding anniversary. During the Sunday service at Faith United Protestantchurch, the Rev. Gerson Engelmann congratulated the couple.Alt and the former Harriett Mong were married on November 22, 1910, in the Knox, Pa., home of the bride's parents. They lived in Lincoln, 111., before moving to Park Forest.They are the parents of three children, a daughter who lives in Colorado, and sons living in Chicago and Califor fornia. They also have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
