Mr. and Mrs. F. Hyndman Celebrate FiftiethMr. and Mrs. Frank Hyndman, of Rapid City, were honored on the occasion of their 501 h wedding anniversary when members of their family held an ‘open house” tea Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Legion Hall.Seated with the guests of honor were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Armstrong, of llamiota. Mr. Armstrong was the best man at the couples’ wedding fifty years ago. Others present who attended the wedding were Mrs. Elizabeth Peters, sister-in-law of Mrs. Hyndman, and Ralph and Joe Hyndman, brothers of the groom.The hall was decorated with bouquets of bronze and gold 'mums. The tea table was centred with a three tier wedding cake made by Mrs. Hyndman, assisted by her daughters and decorated by Mrs. Lon Bor ley. Cold tapers and yellow roses also adorned the tableDuring the afternoon, Mrs. T. C. Sample, Mrs. Laura Belcher, Mrs. John Swanston and Mrs. D. Fuller, Brandon, presided at the tea table, and in the evening Mrs. A. Burr, Mrs. E. Peters and Mrs. B. Tuttle, Brandon, did the honors. Mrs. John Northam and Mrs. Ken ■ Waldon convened the serving of lunch, assisted by Mcsdames Ben Christie, Maurice Miller. Pat Carr, Keith Elvers, Mervin Sehwehr, Tom Haarmans, Ken Moore, Grant Wot ton, Henry Sylvester, Don Sharpe and (). G. Stone, and Misses Joanne Haarmans, Olive Miller, Mary Miller, Lynn Waldon, Barbara and Linda Northam.
