Painters celebrate 50th anniversaryDonald and Dorothy Painter of 437 North Ave., Kit tanning, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 5.Donald Painter and the former Dorothy Crate were married Dec. 5, 1935, in Wheeling, W.Va.A family dinner at Ye Old Hitching Post will be hosted by the couple’schildren, Donald Painter of Mor-risville, Leroy Painter of Kittanmng, Yvonne Painter of Seminole, Fla , and JoAnn Painter of Brackenridge, and three grandchildren to celebrate their anniversary.Mr Painter was a mechanic for Union Carbide, Linde Air Division, before his retirement in 1978. Mrs Painter is a clerk with Montgomery WardThey are members of the Lively Loafers Campers and the National Campers and Hikers Association.
