' iThe third AnnuAl ^how of the Mills County Poultry association will be held next week, December 8 to 11, in the large armory at Glenwood. The poultry * industry of Mills county is given more consideration today than ever before, A show, such as Is sponsored by this association,, gives the individual who wishes to make any improvements dn his flocks or aywtom of flock management a splendid opportunity to study breeds and to find out from the successful poultry breeder what system of management Is producing the beat results.The association has made provision for a special dais of utility birds. The average poultry producer b really mono concerned about a bird's ability 'to -lay eggs rather than its ability to grow fine feathers. Birds entered in his class must conform pretty closely to the standard qualifications and in addition, must show the characteristics of a good producer. It is hoped that the people of the county will show their appreciation of the poultry association’s action in- (thfe matter, by exhibiting their best producing birds..
