Grant Park couples to be honored todayTwo Grant Park couples will celebrate their wedding anniversaries today They are Mr and Mrs Edward Chip man who have been married for 75 years, and Mr, and Mrs VaJ f. Haloff who are marking CO years of mar nage.An open house will he held from 2 to 4 p m at the Sher hurnville hall in Sherhumville for Mr and Mrs Chipman who are residents of rural Grant ParkThe former Maude Sher wood and Edward Chipman were married on November 30. 1904, in Momence and are life long residents of the area They are the parents of three sons and a deceased (laugh ter , grandparents of seven great grandparents of 17. andgreat great grandparents of oneMR. AND MR1 Raloff will he honored at an open house to be held from 2 to 4 p rr ir. th* Fellowship hall of St Peter's United Church of Christ in Grant ParkThe marriage of Raioff and the former Minnetta Krahm took place on December 3 1919, and the couple has resided in Grant Park since 1942 Raloff is a former mayor of the village and is currently a member of the board of St Pe ter's United Church of ChristThe Raloffs have two living sons; VaJ M Raioff of Grant Park and Glenn Raloff of Memphis.
