* *13th Celebration Of Joint BirthdaysFor the 13th successive year Mr. Merrill H. Baldwin and Mr. Raynor DeBurn held their joint annual birthday party Monday evening, a dozen guests being entertained. The affair had its inception in 1919, in Sacramento, and has been celebrated each year since in Coronado or San Diego by the same principals and their wives and as nearly as possible the same guests, the list never changing more than two persons from anniversary to anniversary. It alternates between the Baldwin and DeBurn homes. Mr. Baldwin's birthday is November 30, and Mr. DeBurn’s falls on December 1. The annual party is held the night of November 30, with exchange of toasts at midnight. Mr. Baldwin, cello player of the Hutton trio at Hotel del Coronado, resides at-757 C avenue. Mr. DeBurn, of the Coronado Journal, lives in San Diego, where this year’s celebration was held. The guests were Messers and Mesdames Harry H. Robertson, Richard Seifert, Merrill H. Baldwin and Raynor De-Burn, Mesdames Flor Money and Jack Bradshaw, and Messrs. Ted De-veraux and Gerald Baldwin. Bridge was enjoyed, Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin winning high honors.
