A company of relatives of Mrs. Jane Hinkle, including her children, gathered at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. F. Miller, near West Middleton, and spent a glad and happy Thanksgiving. At noon Mrs. Miller invited the guests into the dining loom where a bountiful dinner awaited them. There was also a surprise for Mr. and Mrs. Miller. When all were seated in the dining room, Mrs. R. M. Cain, an aunt of Mrs. Miller,; made a pretty speech presenting the i host and hostess with a silver tea set, given by friends in honor of their . twenty-fifth wedding anniversary i * which passed Monday. At the conclusion of the appropriate remarks the company joined with Mrs. Cain in r singing “Blest Be the Tie that Binds.” i Mother Hinkle returned thanks for the blessings of the day and then all j proceeded to the pleasures of * the _ hour, partaking of the excellent dinner which was served by Mrs. Miller 3 and daughter Golda, Mrs. Cain and . Mrs. Berta Ixrng. Those who participated feel sure there was no happier Thanksgiving party than theirs. \
