Children s Books SoughtFREEHOLD — Thp Freehold Branch of the AmericanAssociation of University Women met here in Laura Donovan School, to hear Robert N. Goger,director of education at Discovery House — a rehabilitation center for detoxified addicts at Marlboro State Hospital — discuss his work at Discovery House. A former drug addict, now a resident at Discovery House, also took part in the program. After Mr. Goger’s talk there was a question and answer period. Mrs. Ralph Bankert was hospitality chairman for the meeting.AAW is helping to furnishand maintain two libraries at the County Youth Dentention Home, Dutch Lane. AAUW members have been asked to bring used children’s books to the next branch meeting Dec.10 at 8:15 p.m. in the LauraDonovan School.The beleaguered EarthStudy Group is sponsoringthis meeting and admissionfee, payable at the door, willb e non-returnable bottles.rAny college graduate wishing to join AAUW may caU Mrs. Jere Hohmann, dolts Neck.
