GOOD OLDHOMELESS ORPHANS— “Acompany of homeless orphanchildren will arrive in Bainbridgefrom New York on the 12th ofOctober. Those who wish to take a child should make application at once to William B. Walls, Esq., who will give full particulars. Only people of good moral character need apply, as no others will obtain one of these poor orphans. Parties who take the children are expected to refund the Society at least a part of the expenses incurred in bringing the childien to their destination.'* (1860)
