MARRIED FORFIFTY YEARSSister Lakes Couple Will Renew Vows And Keep Open HouseKEELER, Aug. 31—On Labor Day, j September 2, Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. 1Pauley, residents of Oak Park. Sisterj Lakes, will reach the fiftieth anniversary of their married life. They will mark Lheir Golden Wedding occasion by jenewlng their marriage vows at a mass at 9 o’clock at the Silver Creek Catholic church on Sunda3% and on Monday they will keep open house at their home.It was just fifty years ago. September 2, 1890,- that they were married at Rocksburg, Wis. Mrs. Pauley's maiden name was Loretta Jordan. ■Following marriage they spent the first 20 years in Wisconsin. In 1910 they moved to Chicago. About ten years ago Mr. Pauley bought his present Sister Lakes farm. It then included about 14 acres, and it was used by the Pauleys as a summer home.Retired 3 Years AgoMr. Pauley retired from business three years ago and he ■ and Mrs. Pauley have since spent all their time on the farm.Large Rocks of turkeys and chickens are maintained by Mr. Pauley, and he raises various kinds of fruit, doing all the work himself.Mr. Pauley ha3 reached the nge of 75 and Ids wife 70. They are both In excellent health.They have nine children, all living. who will all be. with them on Sunday and Monday to help celebrate the golden anniversary. The sons are: Walter, of Chicago; Richard, Washington, D,' C.; Arthur, Kansas City; Jack, of Bent-on Harbor.Five DaughtersDaughters are: Mrs. MarcellaLeuders, Ntles; Mrs. Anne Gaston, Chicago; Mrs. Helen Merrill, of California; Mrs. Florence Tansell, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Mrs. Alice McNally, of Chicago.There are also 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Out-of-town guests will be sisters of Mr. Pauley from Wisconsin—* Sarafene Mack, Kate.Bruenig, Mrs. M. Reuter and Vernoica Reuter. A brother of Mr. Pauley, Edward, will also be here from Washington state. Mrs. OHve Combs, of Chippewa Falls, Wis., is another who will be present. ;i
