A SURPRISEThursday, August 25 Several of the relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Liston gathered at their home in honor of their 20th wedding anniversary. It was a complete surprise when the/ crowd came on the lawn and Mrs. Liston first got sight of them she was so surprised that when asked how long she had been married she replied I don't know if I am married or not. The guests brought with them a packer Of ice crpam^and several cakes. Mr. Listen had some watermelons in the cellar. After the feas t of ice cream cake and watermelons the evening #was spent in music and (singing. .Mr. and Mrs. Liston received several nice presents of china.
