GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY — Mr. and Mrs. Carl Welch of Kane, who were married in LeContes Mills July 4, 1934, were honored recently for their 50th anniversary with an open house at \ the Kane Knights of Columbus Hall. Mr. Welch \ and his wife, the former Veronica Royer, have ( two children, Mrs. Ruth Skelly of Kane and Ward Welch of Colora, Md., who hosted the } reception, as well as six grandchildren and one great- granddaughter. They were also f honored at Papa Nick Restaurant at a family { dinner. Guests attended from Clearfield, Warren, Frenchville, Karthaus and Kane, as r well as Colora, Md., and Niagara Falls and I Rochester, N.Y. }
