DAT IS FAMILY REUNIONThe fourth reunion of the descendants of Benjamin and Helen Davis was held Sunday, August 26, nt the home of Burgoyne Davis, west of Pine Village. Uncle “Bun” as Mr. Davis is known and Mrs. Nancy Dill, a grand old lady at the age of 89, of Wellington, 111., are the only descendants from a family of ten. Uncle Bun who is 93 years old, is an invalid and has been confined to his bed for two years, although he greatly enjoyed the day among his relation and friends. Mr. Davis lives on his own farm, being tenderly cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cheak.At the noon hour a sumptous dinner was spread, and 150 were seated at the tables. A short program of readings and music was given followed by the election of officers. President, James Dill, of Claypool, Indiana; Mrs. Will Harmon, of Green Hill, secretary; and Mrs. Howard Harvey of Pine Village, Treasurer.The next reunion will be held at the same place the last .Sunday in August.
