W, Pringle, pastor of the Columbus-av Evangelical United Brethren Church has resigned to accept work under thje E.U.B.’s Mission Board in Val-lecitas, New Mexico, 50 miles north of Santa Fe. • ^The Rev. and Mrs. Pringle anci son, William, plan to leave about Sept. 15 for the new positionwhich involves the ministry to the Spanish American people of that area. Mrs. Pringle will teach the first four grades of school.The local clergyman’s successorwill be named Sept. 5 at the Sandusky conference of the E.U.Bi churches to be held in St. Mary’s; O. The new minister will preach the following Sunday. William Keith, 423 E. Monroe-st, is the lay delegate to the conference.( The Pringles came to Sandusky in June 1944 to supervise the r§-1 modeling of the old building into * a church. In September, 1944 he Fiii was sent here officially by the ^/(Sandusky Conference as minister of the U. B. Church.The Rev. Mr. Pringle was active in Jaycee work, a member of the Choral society and secretary-treasurer of the Erie-co Ministerial Association for the past year* Mrs. Pringle was vice-president of erslthe Modern Mother’s Club, a member of the College Women’s Club and a member of the choral group.Installation of the newly elected officials of the church and the communion service Sunday will be handled by the Rev.
