Glaa* wedding.WLast evening there assembled at theresidence of Mr. and Mrs, W, H. C. Jaques about two hundred guests to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary oftheir wedded life. The yard was elegantly lighted by means of Chinese lanterns, and the light blazing fromthe windows through which could beseen groups of ladies and gentlemenengaged in animated conversationpresented a pretty sight which was enjoyed by many a passes by. The elegantly furnished apartments are not surpassed in the matter of arrangement for such a gathering by anyresidence in the city. Pessing up thesteps onto the varanda. the guest is shown into a spacious hall, on the right of which, entered by means of a commodious double door, is a set of parlors, thrown into one by means offolding doors. On the left a large single parlor, also entered from thehall by means of a double door, is elegantly decorated.
