Wyalusing has progressed and grown in the past century. A concrete highway and creek bridge was built in 1925 on Route 6. A beautiful new river bridge across the Susquehanna River was built in 1942 to replace the one built in 1886. The Academy which was built in 1859 has been enlarged and in 1947 a Wyalusing Valley .loint School District was formed including Wilmot. Terry, Herrick. Stevens. Tuseorara. Wyalusing Townships and Wyalusing Roro.
