S Miff* J EHtWWMfFloats and Automobiles Form Main Portion of Industrial Parade at Fair Friday — H. D. Bickel Takes First Prize for Float — Stock Parade Held on Canal Street,Large throngs of people were on hand to witness the industrial and stock parades which were held Friday afternoon, starting at one o'clock.A large number of floats and automobiles were included in the parade. The Boy Scout organization headed the parade and were followed by a Gramm bus carrying the city officials, officials of the fair association, ministers of the city and the superintendent of- schools.Music for the parade was furnished by the Eagles' band of this city and j the Kalida band.Three prizes were awarded floats, i first prize going to the “City of Del-jphos,” a .float in the form of a ship which was entered by H. P. Bickel. This boat was nicely decorated and made a most favorable impression.Second prize was awarded to the Evans Beauty Parlor float and third to the Camp Fire Girls.The judges were Mrs. C, F. Lehman, Mrs. L. E. Bro.oks and Dr. E. Burnett.The parade formed on West Fifth sti*eet, marched east to Main, south on Main to the Pennsylvania railroad j and countermarched to Fifth street, j then disbanding. 1The stock parade was held immediately after the conclusion of the industrial parade. This formed on Canal • street north from Fifth, marched south j to Second and countermarched back to Fifth to disband.Both. Main and Canal streets were lined with people who had turned out
