Live Oak High Class At 20th Year ReunionThe Claas of 1*52 at Live Oak High School met recently tocelebrate a 20th year reunion. F ifty-seven persons attended theevent including Neil Lucas.class advisor; Mrs. Francis Laney. clsss English teacher: and Ed Hendnx. school principal.The event was hekl at Table Mountain Inn in Onmlle.Master of ceremonies wasBen B i r k e I Classmates presented a brief resume ofthemselves.Highlights of the evening included the awarding of prizesTraveling the farthest to attendthe reunion was Margaret Martin Miles, who came irom Singapore.Walter Stone won the awardter having the most children; Edrie Horn Armstrong won .wc prizes — having been marriedthe longest and having theyoungest child: the man with the highest forehead award was presented to Hubert Carter; andthe most newly married awardwas presented to Ben BtrkelDecorations were in theschool colors — purple and gold— and flowers adorned shetables, with a centerpnece ofpurple and gold crysanthemums on the head table Purple andgold pom-poms flanked a largebanner on the walls, with a huge felt lion (school mascot), wearing a crown, taking olaceof honor on the front wall. Nut cups of gold felt, shaped like crowns. matched the lion'sKirkpatrick, Orangevale; Mand Mrs. Jack Putman, Fai field: Mr and Mrs. Meridii Forguson.
