HousetheMr. and Mrs. Haddock C. Snyder, Clinton, formerly of Independence, will be guests of honor Sunday at a surprise open house at the ELDS Church in Clinton in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.Friends and relatives are invited to attend from 3 to 5 p.m. The family asks that anyone unable to attend who wishes to send cards should send them incare of the Snyders’ son, CarrollSnyder, 12126 Cedar Crest Drive, who will take them to the surprise affair.The SnydersSnydersdaughter, Mrs. Martha Sch-midgall, Indianapolis, Ind.Serving as hostesses will be Mrs. Schmidgall, Mrs. Carroll (De Etta) Snyder, the Snyders’ six granddaughters, and the wife of their only grandson.Mr. Snyder retired 11 years ago from the electrical business he owned and operated in Wiggins, Colo. He is a past president of the American War Dads, the American Legion, and the VFW. Mrs. Snyder wasactive for many years in the RLDS Stone Church and sang inalso have a the Messiah Choir.
