Attendance at Vanatta Picnic LargeMrs. Calvin Vanatta of Musca-tin was elected president of the Vanatta reunion association a hen the annual family gathering was neld at Weed park Thursday. Eighty attended. Basket dinnerswere served by the group at noon and in the evening. It was the fifteenth annual meeting ofthe family.Other officers elected were D. C. Vanatta. vice president; Mrs. M. W. Meeker. Muscatine, secretary and Elsworth McGreer of Muscatine, treasurer. Plana for the next reunion to be held the last Thursday in August at Weed park, were arranged.Entertainment during the day was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jensen of Roek Island a hopresented zylophone numbers, readings and other selections.Those participating in the reunion w ere;Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Vanatta.
