Washington County, ss.1 DO hereby certify, that John Ash* bury.living near the residence of Gen, S. Ringgold, brought before me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace for the county aforesaid, as a stray trespassing on his enclosures* a white Horse inter* mixed with small red spots, about four* teen hands high, supposed to be about ten years old—no brand or other marks perceivable. Given under my band this 20th dnv of August* 1818.GEORGE BRUMBAUGH.The owner of the above described stray is requested to prove property, pay charges and take him atvar*JOHN ASHBURY.August 36.
