PA.V■lt;a7$#lt;•*}./y,4*EXCHANGE VOWS IN SCOlTDALE—Robert Cavalier and his bride, the former Deborah Marinucci, were muted in marriage on Saturday, August 18, in St. John the Baptist Church, Scottdale. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John Bentz of 513 Stauffer Ave., Scottdale, and the late Nick Marinucci. Mr. Cavalier is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cavalier of 209 North Lang St.The double ring ceremony was solemnized at 5 p.m. by theRev. Robert Douglas. Coneelebrant for the nuptial mass was the Rev. Darnel Mahoney.The altar was decorated with white gladioli, flanked by palms. White satm bows marked the pews. The bride placed a single white rose on the altar of the Blessed Mother The nuptial music was provided by three vocalists, the Misses Phyllis Foster, Lorraine and Virginia Fraser, all of Glenshaw. The singers were accompanied by David Frolinni, guitarist, also of Glenshaw. For the processional, they presented “Since You've Asked ” Other numbers included “Our House,” “AH GoodGifts,” “The Wedding Song,” “One Hand, One Heart,” “You’ve Got a Friend” and “I Love Her.”Given in marriage by her stepfather, John Bentz, the bride was attired in a floor* length gown of white mara-eaine with venise lace trim. Of classic simplicity, the gown was styled with an empire bodice and high collar of venise lace, encrusted with pearls. Below the collar was a narrow aperture edged with lace. The lace was repeated on the bodice and the cuffs of the bishop sleeves. The slim skirt was A-line. The bride’s headdress was a crown-less pillbox, to which was attached a two-tier mantilla of imported illusion, edged with lace. She carried a Colonial bouquet of miniature white roses, pompons and baby breath.Miss Pamela Orlando of Vanderbilt was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses Jaeque Marinucci, Barbara Costello and Linda DeSanzo.Of floral print voile, the attendants’ gowns were identically-styled with floor-length A-line skirts, empire bodices, square necklines and baby doll sleeves. The gowns were of blended pastel shades of orchid, pink and apricot. Accenting the waistlines were apricot gros-gram ribbons. Each wore a white picture hat with rippled brim and voile trim. They earned arrangements of long-stemmed apricot-tipped white carnations, baby breath and fern.Michael Cavalier Jr. of Scottdale, brother of the bridegroom, served as the best man. Ushers were Dennis Cavalier, Robert Turek and Charles Prudente.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Bentz appeared in a sleeveless floor-length gown of coral polyester knit, with matching bolero jacket and matching accessories. The bridegroom’s mother chose a floor-length long-sleeved gown of pink crepe with matching accessories. Both wore white rose corsages.The supplementary reception and buffet dinner were hostedby the bride’s parents at the Sons of Italy Hall, Scottdale, with approximately three hundred guests attending. A feature was a four-tier wedding cake. Music for dancing was provided by The Music Masters.Both were graduated from Slippery Rock State College in May of this year.The bride received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education and expects to teach English at Southmoreland Senior High School.The bridegroom received a bachelor of science degree in health and physical education and is currently employed by Robertshaw Controls Co., New Stanton.The newlyweds are now residing at Mount Pleasant, E. D. 5.Reynolds To Mark Both WeddingMr. and Mrs. Walter H. Reynolds of 10226-117th Drive North, Largo, Fla., formerly of Dunbar, will observe their golden wedding anniversary on September 1.The Reynolds are parents of three sons, William, Walter and Earl Reynolds, all of California State.A fashion first was estab listed this year at the 61st National Press Week in New York with the showing of the prestigious children’s wear line, Pieeolino and Chin Chin knits. Piccolino showed pint-sized versions of everything adults wear. The idea: girls like nothing tetter than to look like Mommie and boys like to wear clothes that make them look like Dad.
