Aug. 17* The Miaaea Wilkie and Hoffman have been worshipers and member* of Salem Lutheran church longer than any living member* Mim Wilkie was con* firmed in 1880 and Mias Hoffman in 1882.I Both were presented with a plaque of the Folded Hands by Al* brecht Durer with the macription ‘God Anawera Prayer '*Those who were confirmed at Salem * altarUn the year* 1880 I through 1817 were welcomed at the 10 o’clock aervict by the pastor. the Rev. H C. Rose *’The Origin, Truth, and Power of the Goaper* waa the theme of the Rev. Roee’a aermon.Following this service, a covered diah luncheon was served in ' the achool hall. One hundred and fifty, many from other at a tea and citiea, enjoyed aeveral hour* of fellowship and reminiscence.
