Mr. Feree was the agent here for the C. B. Q.Mrs. Harah E. Mitchell, who passed away in Keokuk at the St. Joseph's hospital was buried m the Montrose cemetery. Services were held at ih? horn* or her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mitchell of 1227 Tiinear—street in Keokuk with the Rev. W. W. Stoddart, pastor of the Westminster Presbyterian church officiating Short services were held at the grave here with the Rev. Stoddart officiating. A large number of Montrose friends as well as those from Keokuk were in attendance.The pall bearers were John Bartholomew, Keller Horn, C« ntry Koch. R. L. Worster, W. J. Worster of Keokuk and John Head of Montrose.Mrs. Mitchell was horn in Montrose July 11. lv'tS and was the daughter of Samuel I*., anti Nancy Goodrich Carter. January 6. 1 ss♦; she was united in marriage with Robert Mitchell in Montrose.Surviving is her son, Samuel Mitchell and one grandson, Robert Marion Mitchell of Keokuk.
