Congratulations to Alex Ban-nish of Selkirk who celebrated his 90th birthday on August 15. Lou, Doreen and Muriel took Alex for a drive in the country and birthday supper at Smitty’s on August 14 to mark the occasion. Nephew Archie and Dorothy also paid the 90-year-old a surprise visit. The next day, Alex was treated to birthday cake at the house of John and Katie Bannish, with nephew and nieces, Marjorie and Vi, in attendance.
