Reunion of Bull, Skinner FamiliesMarks 18th YearThe Bull Skinner families 18th annual reunion was held Aug. 15, at Liberty Center fire station. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin CJifes and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Goetz were hosts and hostess. Eighty* one members were present to enjoy this festive occasion. Guests came from Chicago, Dolton, 111., Boone Grove, Lake Eliza, Chesterton, Liberty township, and National City, Calif.A basket dinner was enjoyed at noon. Mrs. Frank Brown, president called the meeting to order shortly’ after dinner.New officers elected for the coming year are as follows: pres ident, Fred Esserman;vice-president; Harold Bull; secretary; Ruth Stanley; treasurer, Harold Lenburg, Richard and Donald Ruge are in charge of adult entertainment and Terry and Brian Esserman are In charge of the children's games.Door prizes were awarded to the oldest married couple who came the farthest distance. Recipients of this were Mr, andMrs. John Wohlenberg from Chicago. John Bull received an award for coining the longest distance. Mr. and Mrs. David Stanley received an award for having their anniversary closestto the reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Andreas Lorenzen from Dolton, 111., won a door prize for the youngest married couple coming the longest distance.One birth was recorded, James Trevor .Beam, on Dec. ]], 1954. One death Mrs. Florence Umbarger was recorded. Two marriages have occurred since the last reunion. Wayne Bull of Washington township, took as his bride Miss Rosemary Wilson of Valparaiso on Aug. J4, 1905. Miss Sandra Speer was married to William Culbertson on .June 12, 1965.Hosts for next year are Mr. and Mrs. David Stanley and Mr. and Mrs. Andreas Loren* zen.Ice cream was enjoyed in the afternoon.A special thanks goes to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin elites and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Goetz for a pleasant day.Cut Out Snacks For AstronautsSPACE CENTER, Houston (UP!) - The Gemini 5 astronauts do not raid the pantry.Under their original space menu, the orbiting spacemen were to have taken three meals and two in-between snacks a day. Under a revised menu, they will cut out the snacks. Officials snid the new menu was the result of studies of the last Gemini flight.
