Bull-Skinner Reunion HeldThe Bull-Skinner family reunion was held Sunday, Aug. 19, at the Liberty school cafeteria. Hosts for the occasion were Air. mid Mrs. Byron Huge and Air. and Mrs. Robert Etcheson.A bounteous basket dinner was served at noon. Immediately fed-1 lowing the dinner, the business! meeting wa^ called to order by the president, Wayne 11 nil. Robert I Esserman and Robert Elcheson | gave secretary and treasurer re*: ports. |It was voted that each family , contribute $1 towards expenses of . the reunion.Prizes were award eel to John Bull, who came the greatest distance, National City, Calif. Terry Esserman received a prize for having a birthday nearest the tiny of the reunion; Air. and Mrs. Frank Brown received a prize for being married the longest numbers of years, 4d. Tl paid to have big feet for Ronnie Esscr-man. He was recipient of a prize for the man’s largest shoe size, and Margaret Esserman for the ladies.Births reported were a lxsy to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thompson; a boy to Mr. and Mrs. John Waters; a boy to Mr. and Mrs. James R Bull: a boy to Air. and Mrs. Norman Hubbard; and a boy to Mr., and Mrs. Melvin elites, Jr.Marriages reported were Miss Sally Joe Ruge, daughter of Air. and. Mrs. William C. Huge, R. 7, Valparaiso, to Jack II. Gleason of South Bend on Aug. 18.Deaths reported was Ralph Leu-burg on June 2.Officers elected for 19G3 were Waller Esserman, president; Byron Huge, vice president; Grace elites and Lois Nichols, secretaries; Wallace Wohlenberg, treasurer. Jean Lorenzcu and Louise Spier were appointed to the entertainment committee.The Robert and Waller Essermon families will be the reunion hosts next year, to be held at I he same place as this year, on the third Sunday in August.Helen Bull and Pat Curtis were in charge of a talent contest given by the younger generality. Taking part were: Norman Ruge,!: John Stanley, Tefry Esserman and Ruth Stanley. Group singing was enjoyed wlih Laura Gael* at the piano.
