Tiskilwa Residents Celebrate Golden Wedding AnniversaryS Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Rei-J chardt, Tiskilwa, observed theirI 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Orville Brokaw. A picnic dinner was served at noon, and 80 relatives and friends attended an open house during the afternoon at the Brokaw home.A bouquet of 50 yellow roses centered the serving table. The arrangement was a gift from Mr. Reichardt’s brother, Wilmer, his wife, and family. The punch bowl was iridescent glass they have had for 50 years. A large, decorated cake was made bv Mrs. Ben Nord-wstrom, and Charles Brokaw served the cake. Mrs. Wilmer Reich-ardt and Mrs. Ruth Gundy presis-ed at the refreshment table. Mr. and Mrs. Reichardt received cards, gifts, bouquets, telegrams, and a purse of money from those who assembled to honor them.Mr. and Mrs. Reichardt were married in Rock Island on Aug. 10, 1912. They have lived in the Buda-Tiskilwa area for most of their married life. They have one adopted daughter, Mrs. Orville Brokaw, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Guests were present from Woodstock. McHenry, Round Lake, Streator, Mineral. Sheffield, Bradford, Princeton, Wyanet. Walnut, Washington, Oregon, and Tiskilwa.
