O, G. Aasen performed the double ring ceremony. Nuptial music was played by Mrs. Tilmer Ostenson who also accompanied the soloist, Romayne Weigand, as she sang ‘Because'’ and “The Lord’s Prayer.”The bride was lovely in herchapel-length gown of lace over satin. She wore a fingertip veil which fell from a crown of pearls and sequins and carried a bouquet of blue and white carnations. Her pearl earrings were a gift fromthe groom.Mrs. Kenneth Sundet. sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Arlene Bjugan and Joyce Jorgens,sister of the bride, wore bridesmaids. All wore identical gowns of blue nylon and lace over satin.The groom’s attendants were Arlo Shuck, cousin of the groom, as bestman and groomsmen were Russell Marple, cousin of the groom, and Virgil Marple, brother of the groom. Ushers were Kenneth Sundet, and Clair Weigand. A reception was held in thechurch parlors. The three-tiercake, baked by Mrs. Clifford Anderson of Erdahl, centered the wedding table and was cut by Mrs. Alvin Paasch of Marshall. Mrs. Harold Melchert of Minneapolis poured and Mrs. Bradley Jorgens was at the guest book.Waitresses were Joan Piepho, Joyce Koep, Rosetta Tcfft and Carol Rarer. Arlene Jacobson and Sylvia Germundson were at thegift table.The bride is a graduate of the Elbow Lake high school and was employed at the First National Bank. The groom is also a graduate of the Elbow Lake high school, was recently discharged from the army, and is engaged in farming.Out of town guests were from Aberdeen, S.D.; Omaha, Neb.; Ar-gusville, Hickson and Fargo, N.D.; Minneapolis, Marshall, Morris, Bertha, Tintah, Norcross, Fergus Falls. Nashua, Clara City, Barrett and Wendell.
