Bob and Roseann LoiaconoRobert “Bob and Roseann Loiacono of 2918 Plaza Way :elebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 15, 2004.The couple’s children and heir spouses, Cindy and 3ruce Brownell, Rob and Bev ^oiacono, and Mary Loiacono ilong with friend Mike jaddis, all of Walla Walla, losted the event.The couple met through amily members. They were narried Aug. 15, 1954, at St. 'rancis Catholic Church in Valla Walla. Roseann’s naiden name is Martuscelli.Bob Loiacono was a milk-nan for Carnation Co. and foung’s Dairy. He also served is a reserve officer for the ollege Place Police Dept., vorked as a warehouse man-iger for Northwest Industrial sundry and at one time wned Bob’s Union 76 station n the comer of Ninth Aven-le and Main Street. He re-ired from Washington State ’enitentiary in 1996. He was in area “Santa Claus’’ from 950 through the 1970s. He njoys fishing and making talian sausage.Bev Loiacono was em-loyed by Roger’s Walla ^alla Cannery and retiredBOB AND ROSEANN LOIACONOfrom Birdseye in 1986. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association. She enjoys cooking and baking, especially traditional Italian recipes. She’s also known for her candies.Mr. and Mrs. Loiacono are members of St. Francis Catholic Church. They are very proud of their Italian heritage and enjoy spending time with family. They also enjoy gardening and start their flowers from seeds early each year in the garage.They have three grandchildren, Geri Loiacono-Cook and Chase Loiacono, both of Walla Walla, and the late Ian Loiacono.
