1»TH DRYDEN REt'NIOVMUiday, Augaat 10, 1929, markedthe nineteenth annual reunion of the jDryden families in Linn, Charitonnd Livingston counties which was held at the usual meeting place on the old Dryden homestead north ofLintu u . Good weather and good roads contributed much toward making the occasion unusually pleasant, making it possible for those who live a considerable distance to drive over for the day arid return home without loss of time.Ablt; ut seventy members were present, all descendants of Dr. N. J. Dryden, who settled in Linn County in lHIt and his wife, Martha Holland i Russell) Dryden, and of his'sister, Mrs, V irgima Maxwell, wife of Thos. Maxw ii of Linneus. Of the first Vcouple only two children are living,John A. Dryden, of Sumner and Mrs. Mary Stanard* of Aberdeen, S. Dakota. One son survives of the Maxwell child ren, John, of ChillJcothe,.
