McKenzie spent a few days motoring through the Grande Prairie district, returning duringthe week-end.Mr. and Mrs. Ludescher motored to Grande Prairie on Saturday for the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Kyle accompanied them.Mrs. Chris Thordarson is home again after spending a few days visiting her daughter at Battle River.Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Rylance and family also Mr. and Mrs. Goss returned to town on Tuesday's train after spending sometime at the Coast.I Miss D. Hershberger returned to her home at Athabasca on Tuesday’s train after holidaying with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thordarson for the last five weeks.Little Beatrice Lambert had her tonsils removed last Saturday atthe Fairview hospital.Mr. and Mrs. L. Fox report having had a delightful motortrip through the States. Mr. Fox is drivings new V-8.Mrs. Hamilton and daughter,Mildred, were among the guestsat the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. Harris, of Griffin Creek, on Sunday last. A “waterless cooker” dinner was demonstrated by Mr. Hermann and greatly enjoyed by the number present.Mr. and Mrs. Duncan, of York-ton, Saskatchewan, were visitors at the Hamilton home Tuesday.Jas. Robertson is lack on duty after a two weeks’ vacation.Mrs. Kyle received the sad news of the death of her mother, Mrs. Schneider, of Seattle, Washington. Mrs. Schneider was well known in our vicinity and we all ext(nd sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Kyle n their great loss.
