ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION.J. W. Wadsworth, of this city, has just lately returned from Odon, Indiana, where he attended the 55th wedding anniversary of his parents. The Odon Journal prints the following in regard to the celebration:Friday, August 6th, the 5 5thanniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wadsworth, of Ragles-ville, was celebrated by a family reunion. There were 141 present to do honor to the old people who have 1 for so long traveled the path of life ■ together. Twelve children were 1 present, this being all the living children. One of the family, the baby sister, was burned to death several years ago at the age of three 4 years. • • • |Besides the children there were 1 28 grand children and one great- j grandchild. The children present were as follows: Lee Wadsworth, Elnora; Mrs. Lottie Mitchell, Indianapolis; Mrs. Sallie Stiles, Elnora; Miss Jane Wadsworth, Ragles- j ville; J. W. Wadsworth, Conners- ' ville; Mrs. Ida Herndon, Ragles- j ville; David Wadsworth, Ragles- i ville; Oscar Wadsworth, Indianapo- i Us; Mrs. Anna Herndon, Ragles- ! ville; Frank, James and Alberta, all of Raglesville.The father, Peter Wadsworth, is 78 years old, and the mother is 71 | They have lived on the farm on which they now reside for forty years. Air. Wadsworth is the youngest of a family of eight children and Is the only surviving member. Thomas Wadsworth, Sr., who died about a year ago, was his brother, j Peter Wadsworth has lived in Van I Buren township ever since he was ' three months old. I
