Wyrick-SeverinLoretta Wyrick and Jeffrey Severin, both of Lawrence, were married May 14, 2005, on Kansas University’s campus with the Rev. Vicki Penner officiating.The bride is the daughter of Herb and Sarah Wyrick, Emporia. The groom is the son of John and Karen Severin, Robinson.Matron of honor was Karyn Moore. Best man was Brian Severin. Bridesmaids were Ann Lloyd and Julie Gilmore Gaughan. Groomsmen were Eric Snider and Michael Schindler. Readers were Audrey McKanna Coleman, Jennifer Hankins and Michele Schuessler.A reception was given at Liberty Hall.The bride is a 1997 graduate of Emporia High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and women's studies in 2001 from Kansas University. She is assistant coordinator of the Kansas Methamphetamine Prevention project.Loretta Wyrick Severin and Jeffrey SeverinThe future groom is a 1997 Hiawatha High School graduate. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies in 2001 from KU. Jeffrey is manager of the KU Environmental Stewardship program.The couple reside in Lawrence.
