Pugh was hostess Tuesday night at a kitchen shower honoring Miss Pam Terry, Aug. 28 bride-elect o f Elon Maddox of Enterprise.The Pugh home on Cloverlead Drive, ornamented throughout with orange and yellow marigolds, was the scene of the courtesy which included 18 guests.The honoree, dressed in a peasant spring pantsuit and a corsage of miniature kitchen gadgets on a scrub pad. opened her gifts.Mrs. Pugh served a ice dessert course and sandwiches.Mrs. Ray Terry, mother of the bride-elect, shared the event with her daughter.Another courtesy honoring Miss Terry was a gift tea in the home of Mrs. Marion Vaughn with Mrs. Mack Campbell. Mrs Gerald Wood, Mrs. A. E. Tarwater. Mrs. Robert L. Smith. Mrs. John G. Mendelson of Huntsville and Mrs Milton Huey of Decatur as cohostesses.Mrs. Tarwater greeted guests and Mrs. Campbell presided at the guest register.The bride-elect, wearing a blue polyester frock and a gift corsage of daisies, receivedbride-electrecuperating from injuries sustained in a fall at her home.
