Announcement of Completion of Drive Made in Bulletin of the Chamber of Commerce.Approximtaely $16000 have boon subscribed to date to the Lodges fund the Chamber of Commerce bulletin announced today. This assures the establishment of the state park. There are still a few to be heard from r.nd it is probable that the total subsc ip* tions will mount well over the $16,000 mark. A number of the directors of the Boone County Farm Bureau are working for the Ledges in their several localities and the report is, expect to hear that the Ames Commercial club has sold several acres among its membership.The sticker drive which was sidetracked because of the Ledges, the Y. M. C. A. campaign, the 4th of July and other activities, has been resumed and will now be continued until enough Did You?—For Better Streets stickers have been sold at $10.00 each to make possible the repair of the Lincoln Highway at least through Boone, $3,000 is the amount which the Chamber has set out to raise. About $1200 was raised several weeks ago leaving a deficit of $1800 yet to be taken up. A considerable amount of the $120(V already raised has been used on Seventh street and in the vicinity of the post office.
