OBSERVE GOLDEN WEDDINGMr. and Mrs. Carl Busch Honored.by Their Sons and Daughters \ - cor Mr. and Mrs. Carl Busch ofjr HeR AHenrIreton celebrated their golden wedding anniversary yesterday the beautiful farm home of their son Chas.C.Busch,two miles southeast of Hawarden. Nearly one hundred relatives and friends were present to help them enjoy the day. A big dinner was served -and the afternoon was spent in feasting anji merrymaking. Singing and instrumental music, interspersed with cards and •dancing furnished plenty of amusement for both old and .young, and the guests did not •disperse until a late hour in the -evening. Both Mr. and Mrs. Busch are in Bplendid health for people of their years and enjoyed the festivities of their golden wedding anniversary almost as much as they did the festivities on their wedding day fifty years ago. They were presented with several gold coins as remembrances of the day.Carl Busch was born in Hilde-Bcheim, Province of Hanover, Germany, October 25, 1841, and is nearly 74 years of age. Mrs. Busch’s maiden natne was whe 'Theresa Guenther. She was frac Ibom in Hesselgar Tirol, Ger- He 1 •many, March-4, 1839, and-is now and 76 years of age. They were tfoe married in Germany August 18, had 1865. Two years later they emi- aver .grated to America and located in Ball: iLee county,Iowa.
