Busch,two miles southeast of Hawarden. Nearly one hu ndred relatives and friends 1T he were present to help them enjoy |stei the day. A big dinner was served .and the afternoon was spent in feasting anji merrymaking. Singing and instrumental music, interspersed with cards and dancing furnished plenty of amusement for both old and .young, and the guests did not 'disperse until a late hour in the -evening; Botlr Mr. and Mrs. Busch are in splendid health for people of their years and enjoyed the festivities of their golden wedding anniversary almost as much as they did the festivities on their wedding day •fifty years ago. They were presented with several gold coins as remembrances of the day.Carl Busch was born in Hilde-Bcheim, Province of Hanover, Germany, October 25, 1841, and is nearly 74 years of age.
