Died, at the residence of bis son 'William Holman, Mr. Daniel Holman, on the 11th day ot August,after suffering with an alllic-tion caused by heart failure and great swelling of the hotly, intimating dropsy, Hie age was 06 y’s, 2 m and 14 days. Deceased wa.t well known in this part of Allen county. Bom on the 27th of May, 1820, in Rows county, O ,and inearlylife moved with Iub parents to Delaware county, afterward to Allen county in 1847,where he lived until death, being a citizen here over 44 years. In 1852 he married Rebecca Snyder There were born to them 4 Bona and 2 daughters. Daniel Holman and his wife united themselves to the German Reformed church over 30 years ago. Just four weokB ago his wife was buried. He leaves many relatives to mourn bis departure. Rev F P Coo*, of Ada, conducted the funeral services and his remarks were very appropriate for the oc casion. Mr Holman’s four bohb acted as pall bearers. The fatherless and motherless children have the sympathy of the community in their loss and the promise of God.
