.lack and Mavis Tuttle (nee Hopkins), 1126 College Ave., were honored by their family recently on the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary. The couple was married in First Church United on Dec. 1. 19.19 by Rev. F. H. James. They have four children, Kenneth, Ottawa; Fred, Chilliwack; Cheryl, St John and Su-Ann, Calgary. They have 10 grandchildren. Following 2H years in the Armed Forces at Shilo and Winnipeg, the Tuttles returned to Brandon and were the first house parents at Kinette House, serving for 5l/2 years. A dinner and dance was held at the Legion Hall. The guest book, attended by grandchildren Mark and Carrie Tuttle, was signed by 100 relatives and friends. Eunice Usunier, Mrs. Tuttle’s sister and bridesmaid attended. Fred Tuttle was MC and the blessing was asked by Cyril Hopkins of Pipestone. Jim Sheldon extended congratulations on behalf of Brandon Branch No 247 of the Royal Canadian Legion, of which Mr. and Mrs. Tuttle are active members. Out-of-town guests were from Regina, Neudorf, Sask., Dunrea, Kemnay, Pipestone and Gross Isle.
