MB. AND MBS. MILLABP G. STEEDRichwood residents, Mr. and Mrs. Millard Grant Steed, will celebrate their 87th wedding anniversary Wednesday.The Steeds have resided in Rich-wood for the past 10 years since his retirement from farming.Mr. Steed was bom in Ashley, Ky., in 1884 and Mrs. Steed, the former Carrie Neal, was born in Lawrence County in 1868. They were married in Lawrence County in 1886. The Steeds were residents of Fayette and Delaware Countiesbefore moving to Richwood. Both are in fair health.They have had five children, three of whom are living, Elvai Steed of Ashley, Mrs. Pearl Miller 'of near Richwood and Mrs. Edith Bryant of Big Prairie, near Wooster. They also have 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.They will be honored with open house at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Miller, on the Hoskins Road, from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday,I Aug. 23.
