Mr. Jolly is 71 3 ears ofage and Mrs. Jolly 6Married at the Dunlap.Mr. and Mrs. Jolly were married at the Dunlap hotel, Aug. 17, 18613, and the ceremony was performed by Rev. 'Robert dark, Methodist minister, residing in Waverly. Mr. Jolly is the son of the late Elisha Jolly, who was also a native of Morgan county. Mrs. Jolly’s maiden name was ILucinda Hamilton. Her father, Franklin Hamilton, of Alexander, was killed in the Civil war. Mr. Jol-ly has one brother living, John Jolly, who married a sister of Mrs. Joily and they resided in Waverly. Mrs. Jolly has two other sisters, Mrs. David Slice, of Oswego, la., and Emma, married, and two brothers, Dr. J. W. Hamilton, of Jacksonville, and John, of Edinburg, 111.(’hildre 11 of Family.The following are the children inthe family, Mrs. I. II.*Hockinjg. Mrs.E. R. Carlisle, and Otis .Jolly, all of Jacksonville; Mrs. James Tran larger and Mrs. C. J. Wright, Franklin, and Mrs. A. L. Burnett, Chicago.There are *20 grand children and 8 great-grand children. Excepting for three grandchildren, who died in infancy, there have been no deaths in the Jolly family.All the relatives expect to be present today excepting tlie Fred Van Winkle family of Montana.It is planned to have a big dinnerat the noon hour and the event is one that has been loked forward to with no little interest by the family.
