They came to America on theship St. Andrew in 1752 and settled in wht is now LancasterCo., Penna.In 1798 a son, Martin, bought a tract of land in what is now Brush Valley. It is from this son, Martin that most of the Brungards in this vicinity have descended. At present there are well over 7,000 descendants of Jacob and Margaretha Brungard scattered throughout* the United States.Officers ReelectedFollowing the noon meal, president, George J. Bohn, Le-mont, presided at a short business meeting. Each person present introduced himself and told where he lived and worked.E. M. Brungard, Selinsgrove, recalled a number of events of the previous reunions and of the sale of goods from Jasper Brun-gard. Jasper Brungard is the man largely responsible for collecting the history of the Brungards in America, J. Victor Brungard, Rebersburg, presented a copy of the family tree. Conrad Brungard, Sidney, Montana, expressed his pleasure at being present to become acquainted with his relatives.The present officers were reelected for another year. They are: President, Mr. Bohn; vice president, Harold Brungard, Smullton; secretary, Maude Brungard, Salon a; treasurer, Mrs. Phillip Vonada, State College; historian, Vera C, Brun-Hobby Exhibit ShownPrize winners were: Oldest lady present, Mrs. Carrie Brungard Wood, Pittsburgh; oldest man,W.
