White Oak BaptistThe White Oak First Missionai*y Baptist Church will hold its annual homecoming service Sunday at which time it will mark the church’s sixth year of operation.The church was organized Marh 12, 1964 with 12 members, and on Aug. 13 the first service was held. The day’s schedule of activities will begin at 10 a.m. with Sunday school, followed by morning worship at 11. Guest speaker for the morning service will be the Rev. S. D. Smith of MacArhtur. Dinner will be served on the picnic grounds adjoining the church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, and the Rev. Theodore “Chic” Carte will deliver the afternoon sermon. The church is presently without a pastor because of the resignation of the Rev. Darrell Hamm on July5.
