Priscilla about 35• their daughter. Anne. 9. and a sister-in-law. Miss Fmilv Snow, fc 25. and then fatally wounded hsm-self. , „Mrs. Thomson and Miss Snowwere half-sisters, daughters of Thad Snow, prominent Southeast Missouri cotton farmer, land owner. and frequent contributor to newspapers and periodicals.Snow and Miss Snow returned la't week after a three-month trio around the world. Miss Snow was graduated last year from the Inn- ‘ ersity of Wisconsin and had attended the University of Mexico.-Mexico City. She was registered a* a graduate student at Radcliffe College. Cambridge. Mass., for the autumn semester.Nunnelee said Thompson called him on the telephone and reported the shootings, adding You better come on out and get uvNunnelee and Sheriff Walter Beck said all four persons had been shot with a .22 caliber rifle. The bodies of Mrs. Thompson and the daughter were in bed. each shot through the head. Thompson was collapsed over the end of the bed and died several hours later in a Cairo, 111 . hospital without regaining consciousness. The bodv of Miss Snow*, who lived nearby, was found in the yard.Sheriff Beck ascribed the shooting to ill-feeling he said has existed for manv vears between Snow and his son-in-law.
