WALTER J. MECH 2Walter J. Mech, Harvey, was buried at Holy Cross cemetery (in Calumet City Monday after tfuneral services at Ascension Ichurch. He died last Friday at ISt. James hospital. 11Mr. Mech, who was 63, 1worked for the street depart- |ment of the city of Harvey. He had been a member of 1American Legion Post 155 and the Izaak Walton league. He was a veteran of World War II.Mr. Mech is survived by his wife, Irene; daughters, Dee Wittenkeller of Harvey and Marilyn Harris of Orland Park; sister, Hannah Fritsche of Blue Island; brothers, Joseph of Harvey, John of Sebring, Fla., Paul of Long Island, N.Y., Edward of Homewood, and Benedict of Springdale, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
