A Dig crowd witnessed tne program at 8 o’clock last night by the Missouri Fox Hunters, radio entertainers. A concert also was presented on the grounds by the Sandy Lake band.More than a dozen entries have been received for the tractor pulling contest which will be a lea lure at 7 o’clock tonight, at the school grounds. The contest will be followed by a program by The Vagabonds, radio entertainers.Friday afternoon a horse pulling contest will be staged at 3:30 o'clock, and the evening feature will be the annual pet parade led by the German Band from Mead-ville.Saturday will be another big day in Sheakleyville, according to Kennedy Graham, general chairman of the combined celebration. The annual community parade, in which several bands are expected to participate, is scheduled for 1 p. m. Saturday, and will be followed by a horse show. An amateur show will be held at 8 o'clock Saturday night.The annual union homecoming church service at 11 o'clock Sunday morning will conclude the observance. Congregations of the three Sheakleyville churches will unite in the service in the United Presbyterian Church. Rev. P. C. HeiJbrun, pastor of the Methodist Church, will preach the sermon, and music will be provided by a uniofl choir.uated from Edinboro State Teachers College in 1892 and was a school teacher many years.
