Zimmerman.Some persons in this locality are preparing to cut their tobacco the coming week. -Ben Borst and family, of Laconia, spent Sunday with Mrs. Lizzie Ellis and family at this place.Dan Sherman, of Mauckport, is spending a few days with his brother, Thomas Sherman, at Davidson.About fifty of the friends and relatives of Stoy Davis gathered at his home last Sunday with well filled baskets a,nd gave him a surprise on the occasion of his birthday.
