There he worked for the Brown Greenhouses, having learned this trade in his homeland. Clarke They lived in Galesburg until 1888 when they moved to Boone, where they have since resided. In 1883. Mr McMechan started work in his brother, John’s. ros drug store, where he was employ- an ed until he became owner and bli manager of the McMechan Drug of Store at 815 Story street, which he sold in 1*19. paBoth Mr. and Mrs McMechan ne belong to the local Presbyterian a church and have been active in w! church and «cial affairs of the w! community.
